The Hell of Helene - songs for Appalachian relief

Brad Fielder  has compiled a fundraiser album to support local initiatives making the area habitable again.
Appalachia is moonshine country, we're happy to contribute our song Storm.

Driels Wheels

Last Sunday we played at Driels Wheels; a festival based on American cars and motocross.

Ted Gijsman made some photos of us:

Recording our debut album

And so it begins..

MadNes

This festival was something else.. the whole trip to get there, to board the ferry with the festival crowd... An amazing experience! The whole festival had an incredible vibe, people doing tricks on skateboards, BMX or surfboards..

Needles to say we had a good time, here are some pictures:

Gems in the rough, outtake

We filmed at two locations for our Gems in the Rough submission. This was our backup location in case of bad weather. Hanging around in a shed, drinking moonshine; we're more in our natural habitat then the recording at the wagon, which feels a bit posed.

Alas, we could only submit one video to Gems on VHS, so we had to kill this darling, but we couldn't resist sharing it with you ;-)

Which recording do you like most?

Gems in the rough 2023

New video for "Storm", our submission for the #gemsintherough2023 contest, held by Gems on VHS.
One take accoustic recording, made in the backyard of our friend Steef.
